Time for a Service

Time for a Service

It’s that time in the year where the car needs a service. Unfortunately, this normally also means a costly MOT, and renew of road tax. I’ve only owned my current car a year; a Black Mitsubishi Colt CZ2. It was brand new, now only a year old so at least that crosses the MOT off the list. I took my car to the same dealer that I purchased it off originally. My girlfriend phoned it in and got the service will all the works and courtesy car for £209. They had already picked out the rental car for me by the time we arrived, and what car did they pick to replace the 1300cc Colt?

How about the new 2200cc 4x4 L200 Truck? I wasn’t going to say no, the only other car I’d driven before was a 1200cc Renault Clio!

It was a nice drive, not as cushy as my air-con enabled Colt. I survived the drive, no dents to the vehicle to my girlfriends relief, (although I don’t think she enjoyed the drive there judging by her many weird and wonderful facial expressions). We returned it the next day, and after all that and they never even fixed the main problems with my car. They asked me to bring it back in (free of charge of course, with the free courtesy car), so it looks like I’ll be taking the truck out for another drive in the near future!
