New iMac

The new iMacs were released today, but from the early pictures and reviews I’ve seen, I’m yet to be impressed. The iMac to me, has always seemed to be a bit on the bulky side. Even when you consider the fact they’ve managed to squeeze an entire computer into the small space of a monitor.

If you ask me, I think the fake videos flying around the internet look much nicer!

The technology is already there for a large multi-touch screen interface, just look at the Apple iPhone and the Microsoft Surface. I’ll just to keep my fingers crossed and wait until the next iMac update. Only 185 days to go!

It looks like a fairly standard hardware update from the consumer side of things, nothing too new or fancy. However, it’s too early yet to give any opinion on the new addition to the Mac family. As soon as it’s settled in and the novelty has worn off among the Mac community, I’ll make sure to post an update.
